About Us
We are Fabrizio and Michelle.
Fabrizio is the hands and heart of our creations. Working from his studio in Italy, he is the artist who handcrafts every single Mikimo piece from start to finish. A sculptor and modeller whose work has been displayed at the Venice Biennale, he brings a mastery of form to every piece he handcrafts, each hand-sculpted oval cameo, featuring a bas-relief of your pet's breed, is a work of art.
My journey began in South Africa and led me to Italy for my design training. Two of my greatest teachers in love and loyalty were my two Cocker Spaniels, Cicciolina and Marcello. Their spirit is the eternal inspiration behind every piece we create, guiding me to blend emotional depth with timeless elegance.
Together, we create heirloom-quality pet urns and elegant vases. We work in fine ceramics and wood, transforming raw materials into heartfelt keepsakes for our timeless collection for the home.

Before an urn is finished, its soul can be created. Here, our master sculptor Fabrizio hand-shapes the likeness of a Cocker Spaniel from our breed library, capturing its unique essence.
We offer two paths for this personal tribute: a bespoke cameo sculpted exclusively from your photographs, or a selection from our library of breed-specific portraits. For those who prefer serene simplicity, our urns are also available without a cameo.
Each piece, regardless of your choice, is crafted with the same meticulous artistry and reverence, ensuring a tribute that honours a life well-loved.
